The rooms were a nice size, reasonably priced, with private bathroom. We had a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge.

We really enjoyed tastefully decorated room with private bathroom. Its location was beautiful, adjacent to Forrest, and the restaurant given the lack cleanliness.

Facilities were really good, yet Wi-Fi was kind of slow.

Family with children, a great retreat

We had this spacious room, totally huge, just perfect for a family like mine. The kids loved the fact that there were chickens roaming around, I mean, who doesn't want to grab breakfast from the source!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for, ya know?

Comfortable stay with great food!

We spent 2 nights in a cozy studio apartment. It was clean and comfy, perfect for us as a couple. The restaurant food was awesome, loved the varied menu! Only thing was the parking area felt a bit cramped at times.

Room was fantastic, but the Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

It was just a reliable pick for a mini-break over the weekend in Hexham with excellent value for money. The food was quite disappointing. Three of us left our meals barely touched. Be sure to check the dining options before sitting down.

Charming, Charming, Charming

The views from our apartment were amazing, with rolling hills and tranquil ponds dotted with adorable ducks and geese. We loved the vibrant farm life around us, especially our daily visits to the resident chickens and playful lambs! Dining outdoors while watching the sunset transformed our meals into lovely experiences under the stars.

We stayed in a spacious family room with kitchen facilities, which was just perfect for our needs. The cozy bar area and relaxing outdoor seating overlooking the fields made for some great downtime. Just a small note, the shower fan could be a bit noisy, but it didn't take away from our lovely experience! 🌟

A peaceful getaway in the countryside with good views and friendly owners. The accommodations were spacious and clean, but the mattresses were a bit bouncy, leading to a less than restful sleep. The location was splendid, with easy access to Kielder Forest and lovely on-site dining.

Cozy bar area with beautiful views. Campers were noisy early in the morning, waking us up. Great hiking trails nearby.

I felt so welcomed right from the start, and having the lovely Hareshaw Linn Waterfall just under 3 km away made for a fantastic day of walking through nature .

More accessibility features for seniors would be helpful.

The staff greeted us with warmth. The room size impressed me-it was spacious enough for our family. The location is perfect for exploring Kielder Forest. I loved having easy access to beautiful nature and scenic views. The kitchen really came through. They opened up for dinner later in the evening when we needed it, and the food was tasty. Unfortunately, we dealt with an overheating issue on our first night. Thankfully, we managed it by keeping the windows open, but it was uncomfortable initially. Soundproofing could use some work, especially during the day when bar noise came through. Still, the friendly staff and the wonderful gift shop and gallery made up for the inconvenience.

The studio apartment offered ample space and was conveniently near Kielder Forest. Lighting around the beds created a cozy atmosphere, and the owners accommodated us with a delicious homemade dinner. The rural setting might not suit everyone, and the absence of direct access to the bar was somewhat inconvenient. Our stay was made particularly enjoyable by the friendly and cute staff.
